On September 2, 2021, different PECUs of this Unit conducted Simultaneous Disposal Operation. The activity aims to lessen the threat of unwanted explosion of Found; turned in; surrendered and recovered Critically Deteriorated/Corroded Explosive Ordnance stored in our Explosive magazines. Following were the explosive ordnance disposed thru destruction by detonation and explosive charges used:

The RECU 4A received Certification of Recognition for having been adjudged as Rank No. 1 during the 2nd Quarter 2021 Unit Performance Evaluation Rating. Given this 25th day of August at PNP EOD/K9 Group Headquarters, Camp BGen Rafael T Crame, Quezon City

On August 20, 2021 at 11:45 AM, onboard Mitsubishi L300 bearing Plate no. SKR 727, personnel of PECU Rizal led by PMAJ RODOLFO BAYAS proceeded to Brgy. Rosario, Rodriguez Rizal to conduct Render Safe Procedure on the said unattended boxes located beside Mc Donalds fast food chain with GC Lat. 14.729990 and Long. 121.140025. According to Ms. Angilie Purification, Manager of the said fast food chain, the unattended boxes was seen around 5:57 AM of same date.

On August 5, 2021 from 9:30AM-9:45AM, PECU Quezon personnel PSMS Bernardo P Bassig JR, under the direct supervision of PCPT DANTE S FLORENTO, OIC PECU Quezon was interviewed by Mr. Ferdinand Ramilo, reporter of Bandilyo TV 89.3 Maxx FM Radio regarding to the recovery of vintage bombs in Sitio Curba, Brgy Castañas, Sariaya Quezon.

On July 17, 2021 from 11:00AM-12:00 PM, RECU 4A personnel under the leadership of PMAJ JUSTIN A LARIOZA, OIC RECU4A conducted Outreach Program with the theme “EOD/K9- Express Our Deepest love and compassion to the community of CALABARZON”.

The activity benefitted 24 abandoned and neglected children of Children's Joy Foundation Inc in Barangay Canlubang, Calamba City, Laguna, wherein they individually received hygiene kits (Bath Soap, Tooth Brush, Tooth Paste, Shampoo, Alcohol, Napkins for female, Hand Sanitizer and Cotton buds)

together with PECUs Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon
conducted simultaneous outreach program dubbed as EODK9
“Express Our Deepest love and compassion to the community of Calabarzon”
to the different orphanage and institutions in the said provinces.
